Emilia Romagna
Emilia-Romagna is a region in north-east, and comprises two distinct time zones: Emilia takes its name from the ancient consular road Via Emilia, who built the Roman consul Marcus Aemilius Lepidoe; Romagna, Latin Romania, is the term used by the Romans called the area near Ravenna.
Emilia-Romagna to the east is wet by the Adriatic Sea, bordered to the north with the Veneto and Lombardy, on the west by Piedmont and Liguria, south of Tuscany, the Marche and the Republic of San Marino.
The Adriatic Riviera is the center of tourist attraction in summer for the rich and well organized accommodation (more than 5000 hotels) than in other periods of the year for many local youth entertainment.
Discreet also winter tourism in the ski resorts in the Apennines, between which we remember Sestola and other places Monte Cimone, and the Corno alle Scale, in Bologna.
Highly developed art tourism in the cities of art, especially from abroad.
