The newly-built Hotel Il Vascello is located at 350 meters distance from the wonderful beach of Costa Rei with white and incredibly fine sand. The Hotel Il Vascello provides its guests with high quality services (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, TV lounge, bar service, WI-FI, internal car park with attendant, beach service). The Restaurant offers its guest some typical dishes of the Mediterranean tradition and Sardinian specialties prepared with very fresh products from our sea and our land.
The 20 double rooms furnished in Mediterranean style are air-conditioned and all supplied with bathroom (with shower and hairdryer), telephone, safe, minibar, internet connection and SKY TV. Each room has a lovely external veranda with armchairs and a table. The Hotel Il Vascello also offers a nice TV lounge and a small multifunctional hall that can be used as conference hall with the possibility to organize video conferences. In addition to this, meeting rooms with audiovisual facilities, a party room, ADSL and fax machine are at your disposal.

Muravera, as archaeological findings in the territory of Costa Rei testify, has been inhabited since 5000 BC; First settled by the Phoenicians and Carthaginians, and only later it became a dominion of Rome. At the fall of the Roman Empire, Muravera became part of one of the southernmost of the “giudicati”, the Giudicato of Kalari, and became an integral part of the Curadoria of Sarrabus; the main activities were agriculture, herding, and fishing.
The Beach of Costa Rei is part of the town of Muravera, it extends for about 8 / 10 miles, a long line of fine sand, more similar to talcum powder, blinding in broad daylight, is enhanced by the scent of the sea lily and a few bathing facilities that integrate harmoniously with the landscape. The beach, interrupted by patches of rock that plunge into the sea and that marks beautiful bays, is one of the most popular of all southern Sardinia. The seabed, which slopes gently, makes it the ideal beach for families and for the safe bathing of children, but also for long relaxing walks. The beach is also frequented by Costa Rei windsurfing and snorkeling lovers, given the varied backgrounds.
The territory of Muravera is rich in historical and archaeological sites, but only some of them are really accessible; visiting them gives interesting life experiences to research the history of this area which has been inhabited since the earliest prehistoric times, before the so-called "Nuragic Civilization".
There are many events and festivals taking place in Sarrabus from after Easter to October, religious fairs and festivals which celebrate centenary celebrations now and which have always the same fascination that the Sardinian culture jealously preserves in its heart, eyes and in the manners of the Sardinian people.
The gastronomy of Muravera and Sarrabus is particularly rich and tasty and offers local dishes prepared according to traditional recipes with unique products and expertly prepared giving life to dishes that maintain unchanged the flavours of the past.
In Costa Rei the clear and emerald water, long white beaches, coves and lovely beaches, within walking distance that can be enjoyed on horseback, are the strong point of the coast; visitors can learn more about this paradise with daily excursions that allow tourists to know an unusual and particular Sardinia, far from the summer hustle and bustle. Mountain lovers should not miss the discovery of the Mountains of the Seven Brothers.
The seabed of Capo Ferrato is covered with a flora of incomparable beauty and is rich in a very interesting marine life that in some circumstances finds shelter in the wrecks of the Second War of that are numerous and make the area one of the most beautiful for scuba diving.

Get onto the SS 554, follow directions to Quartu S.E - Villasimius. After the SS 554 follow directions to Villasimius and continue on the SP 17 to Terra Mala; follow directions to Costa Rei , turning left . You will find a street that acts as a "link road" at the intersection of the new SS 125 towards Muravera, follow it, at the exit of the last gallery you will find the first exit for Costa Rei (not to be taken!), continue to the next exit Costa Rei - Olia Speciosa. Continuing in the direction of Capo Ferrato, you will be on the SP 97, after 1 km you will find the first junction for Costa Rei (not to be taken!) Continue for a further 5 km and on your right you will find directions to Costa Rei. From there the Hotel-Restaurant IL VASCELLO is about 2,5 km far in via Ichnusa snc – Lott. Rei Marina.

Follow directions leading to Villasimius. Travel along the coast of the promenade Poetto when you find yourself on the SP 17 to Terra Mala; follow the signs for Costa Rei, turn left.
