La Pergola holiday homes are located in Tuscany , about 380 metres above sea level, within a peaceful area, on a gently sloping hillside, which offers a splendid panorama of the surrounding woods.
Casole d’Elsa, a small medieval village of Etruscan origin, is located 3 kilometres away; it is a member of the Orange Flags association, a standard for eco-environmental quality of the Italian Touring Club. All the major sites of cultural interest in Tuscany are easily reachable: San Gimignano, Volterra, the Chianti Hills, Siena, Florence and Pisa.
The buildings are old farmhouses, which have been entirely restored and furnished in a simple, but very comfortable way. They are all equipped with kitchen (hob only), cooking utensils, bedroom and kitchen linen, bath towels (weekly change), free satellite TV (English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish channels).
Types C and D are equipped with washing machine, free of charge. Types A and B use a shared machine, at an additional charge.
All have their own barbeque, patio or terrace, and access to the gardens. There is ample off the road parking, free and guaranteed for every apartment.
La Pergola is equipped with 2 outdoor swimming pools, one for adults (12 x 6 metres), one for children (4 x 3 metres).
Moreover, all the free services and facilities of Hotel Aquaviva, situated at only 300 metres from the apartments: one covered and heated swimming pool (13 x 10 metres); one outdoor pool for adults (12 x 7 metres), one baby splash pool, waterfalls, heated indoor whirlpool, fully equipped fitness room.
At an additional charge: wellness centre (including steam bad, hot & cold shower, Kneipp parcours, Finnish sauna, UV solar shower), massages, mountain bike rental, babysitter for children, restaurant. (half board for La Pergola guests is possible).

RATES They vary according to the type of apartment and the period of stay. We indicate therefore of the prices only oriented to you. Prices include: apartment rental; water, electricity and gas consumption; bedroom and kitchen linen and bath towels (with weekly change); satellite TV (English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish channels); cooking utensils, use of parking (guaranteed for each apartment); final cleaning.
STAY Minimum three days, arriving on any day of the week, for the months of March, April, May, June, September and October. Minimum one week, arriving on Saturday only, for the months of July and August. For some apartments are also possible long-term stays of more than a month.
ACCEPCTANCE The acceptance and the assistance to the hosts are assured 24 h 24.
HEATING On request, from March to first of May and from the end of September in then.

EXTRA BED
- No charge for cots for infants under 2 years, on request

BREAKAGE DEPOSIT € 300,00 by cheque or credit card. The breakage deposit will be refunded on departure, less any breakage or damage caused by yourselves during your stay.

How to reach us
From PISA AIR-PORT:
- Drive directly on the dual-carriage way (Superstrada, no toll way, also called FI-PI-LI) from the air-port to FIRENZE SIGNA.
- Enter the motorway ( Autostrada del Sole, A1, toll way) direction ROMA.
- Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA (the first exit); after the toll house, turn right on the dual-carriage way (Superstrada, no toll) towards SIENA.
- Exit the Superstrada at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA NORD, and turn left towards VOLTERRA/COLLE VAL D’ELSA.
- Follow this main road to the town of Colle Val d’Elsa and at 2.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada turn right towards VOLTERRA/CASOLE D’ELSA on the road SS 68.
- After another 3 km (5.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada) at LE GRAZIE turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
- Then travelled along this main road for 7 km, turn right at the first roundabout (there is a white sign post indicating "La Pergola”).
- Drive straight for 3.7 km; through the second roundabout, following the signs VOLTERRA. You will find hotel AQUAVIVA, on your right, on the hill. Please, do not try to drive the shortest, but very complicated and cumbersome highway, through Ponsacco and Volterra. You will likely get lost.
From the NORTH:
- Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA, take the dual-carriage way (Superstrada) towards SIENA.
- Exit the Superstrada at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA NORD, and turn left towards VOLTERRA/COLLE VAL D’ELSA.
- Follow this main road to the town of Colle val d’Elsa and at 2.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada turn right towards VOLTERRA/CASOLE D’ELSA on the road SS 68.
- After another 3 km (5.5 km from the exit of the Superstrada) at LE GRAZIE, turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
From the SOUTH:
- Exit the Autostrada del Sole (A1) at VAL DI CHIANA, and head towards SIENA.
- Follow this road to Siena, and take to ring road towards FIRENZE on to the Superstrada and exit at COLLE DI VAL D'ELSA SUD.
- At the roundabout, do not follow the signs to Casole d’Elsa, but turn right, following the signs for VOLTERRA, throughout the town of Colle di Val d’Elsa.
- Having crossed the township of Colle, at LE GRAZIE (ESSO petrol station, small church) turn left towards CASOLE D’ELSA.
- Then travelled along this main road for 7 km, turn right at the first roundabout (there is a white sign post indicating “La Pergola”).
- Drive straight for 3.7 km; through the second roundabout, following the signs VOLTERRA. You will find hotel AQUAVIVA, on your right, on the hill.
