Abruzzo
Abruzzo is a region of central Italy, between the Adriatic and the central Apennines.
Its territory, which borders with Marche, Lazio and Molise is divided into four provinces: L'Aquila, Chieti, Pescara and Teramo.
The region each year attracts tourists from all over Italy and Europe, thanks to the many artistic and cultural history, coastal tourism, mountains, nature reserves and parks.
The 130 km of coastline to the north are characterized by wide sandy beaches and high quality hotels. To the south from Ortona to Vasto and San Salvo is wild, high and steep beaches surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation.
Among the most important seaside tourist centers: Montesilvano, Pineto, Roseto degli Abruzzi, Giulianova, Alba Adriatica, Tortoreto, Francavilla al Mare, Ortona, Vasto, Martinsicuro, Silvi Marina and trabocchi Cost.

In the marine protected Area of Torre Cerrano dune environment is intact and you can see the sunken remains of the ancient port of Atri, are just a few kilometers from the coast.
The Abruzzo has three national parks, a regional park and 38 protected areas between oases, state reserves and regional reserves with rare species of flora and fauna.
Also popular in Europe, the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, National Park of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, National Park of Maiella and Regional Park Sirente Velino, attract visitors with nature and the different activities including tours, horse riding, hiking, canoeing and birdwatching, boating on Lake Bomba and finally tourism resort on Lake Scanno and Campotosto.
